The TV networks keep describing the geography of New Orleans as a bowl. Souper bowl would be more accurate, as in: a super-sized bowl of contaminated soup.

I’ve watched with awe and horror the devastation wrought by Hurricane Katrina, and I haven’t words to describe it. It is simply beyond my comprehension.
